Plan the visual sequence

Stitch Images into a Shot Board
See the scene before the motion

Stitch images from your device into a board that makes a scene easier to discuss. Place 2–9 stills in a row, a vertical sequence or a grid, crop each panel, and download one PNG or JPG. alice ai's stitcher uses manual layout controls in your browser; creating the board needs no account or credits.

How to stitch images for a shot plan

Choose a few useful moments, then decide what a viewer should notice first.

01

Choose the moments

Add 2–9 JPG, PNG or WebP files, with each file no larger than 25 MB. Use an establishing view, a subject detail and a possible closing frame rather than several nearly identical stills.

02

Build a readable sequence

Select Side by side, Top to bottom, Photo grid or Featured photo. Use Arrange photos to swap the panel order, then Adjust crop to keep the subject and essential background in view.

03

Export the shot board

Set the ratio, background and gap. Download PNG or JPG with a 1200, 2048 or 4096 px long edge. Review the board at the size your collaborator will actually see.

A small shot board with a clear purpose

The stitched picture records your planning choices without turning them into a video.

Opening, action, closing

Arrange three stills in reading order to discuss how a short scene could develop. Each panel remains a separate picture; the board does not calculate transitions or motion.

Framing alternatives

Compare a wide view with a closer crop of the same subject. Keeping the subject near the same visual position makes the framing change easier to assess.

Light and atmosphere

Put location and lighting references next to the intended subject. A featured panel can give the central scene priority while smaller panels explain the mood.

Keep the visual plan easy to follow

Use a row for a short sequence and a grid for alternatives. Keep faces and important objects away from panel edges, and check every crop after changing the board ratio.

This is a panel stitcher, not an AI panorama or continuity tool. It does not join overlapping scenery, fill missing pixels, animate panels or guarantee that a later generated clip will follow the sequence.

Shot board questions

Can I stitch two frames to compare an opening and a closing shot?

Yes. Add the two files and choose Side by side or Top to bottom. Adjust the crops separately so the important part of each frame remains visible.

Does alice ai charge credits for the board?

No. Stitching and PNG or JPG downloads are free, with no registration and no added watermark. AI video generation is a separate action that requires sign-in and its own credit quote.

Will these stills become a sequence automatically?

No. The download is one still image containing separate panels. It does not create a timeline, in-between frames or an animated storyboard.

What source files can I use?

Use 2–9 JPG, PNG or WebP images, up to 25 MB per file. If a large decoded image exceeds browser memory, resize it before trying again.

Are the source frames uploaded while I arrange them?

No. Layout, cropping and download happen locally in your browser. Choosing the completed-image video button stores the final board in this browser for up to 24 hours; after you continue and sign in, that completed image is uploaded as a video reference.

Which export is suitable for sharing a shot plan?

PNG preserves crisp boundaries; JPG usually gives a smaller file. Choose a 1200, 2048 or 4096 px long edge to suit the intended viewing size. Enlarging a low-resolution frame cannot recover its missing detail.

How do I use the board as a video reference?

After downloading, use the completed-image button to carry the current board to the video workspace. The finished file must be 10 MB or smaller; use JPG or a smaller export when needed. Review the available image-to-video model, prompt and credit quote before generating. It receives one composite reference, not separate shot instructions.

Try motion from your finished composition

Keep a downloaded copy of the board. To use it as a still reference, choose the completed-image button, then review the video model and describe one clear motion. A panel sequence is a planning aid, not a promise of matching shots.
